A Photographer With Over 30 Years Experience

My name is Alan Scott.  I’m a professional photographer with over 30 years experience of photographing people, pets and products.  Assignments include weddings, parties, commercial and corporate environments. In addition, I cater for family and pet portraits. My easy going, accommodating attitude and relaxed yet focused shooting style means I get along with most people.

Scotland and the UK 

Based in the Scottish Borders town of Galashiels, I am available for commissions throughout Scotland and the UK.  I also take graduation photographs  of students at universities in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the North of England.

Hobbies and Interests

Not surprisingly, my hobbies include photography and film collecting. In fact, I own a home cinema complete with seats.  I listen to Jazz and music by Classical composers including Mahler and Bach. A favourite musician was the greatest innovative Jazz drummer – Gene Krupa.

I enjoy married life with my wife, Elaine, and our dog, Max.
